BOHO Sails

The sails from Boho Windsurfing are designed mainly for race- and longboard windsurfing and are part of the complete rig developed for the Boho 370 and 380 Raceboard. They are available in 7.5 m², 8.5 m², and 9.5 m², which are common sizes for raceboard sailing in light to moderate winds. 

The sails are intended for efficient upwind sailing, stability, and long-distance cruising.

Strengths

 1. Very good performance in light wind

Raceboard sailing often happens in lighter wind conditions.
The large sail sizes provide strong low-end power, allowing riders to maintain speed and climb upwind efficiently.

 2. Stable sail profile

These sails are designed to keep a stable aerodynamic shape, which helps maintain consistent power during long runs and variable wind conditions.

 3. Designed as part of a complete rig

The sails are made to work together with the Boho mast and boom system (with masts around 80% carbon, and higher). This integrated approach improves compatibility and makes the rig easier to tune. 

4. Proven in competition

Boho Sails have already shown good results in international raceboard events. Riders using Boho Sails achieved first place in the U21 category and second place in the women’s category at the Raceboard World Championships in Cádiz. 

 5. Relatively affordable race equipment

Compared with some high-end raceboard rigs, Boho aims to provide competitive performance at a lower price, making it easier for sailors to move up from youth classes.
